HEKA fix comfort

An ablation mammae with a necrotic wound on my mother-in-law gave me the opportunity to test the HEKA fix comfort shirt, which is distributed in Germany by curea medical GmbH.
My mother-in-law had already received a custom-made lymphological compression shirt. However, this was uncomfortable for her because it was far too tight for her liking. Because of this experience, she also initially refused the test with the HEKA fix comfort shirt. But because of the shirt’s many advantages, such as being made of bamboo fibres with breathable and antibacterial properties, she agreed to try it out. I put a wound dressing on the necrosis and the wound to protect it.
After just half an hour of wearing it, my mother-in-law was thrilled and amazed by the support and the great wearing properties of the shirt. She did not feel constricted with good fixation and found the material pleasantly cooling despite summer temperatures outside. By now she has three shirts to change into and wears them around the clock.

Especially for freshly operated patients, it makes sense to keep the wounds under a certain pressure so that seromas cannot form so easily. Therefore, I see the HEKA fix comfort shirt as an alternative for lymphology patients who need a certain amount of pressure on the thorax but can only tolerate a little pressure on the thorax due to pre-existing conditions such as a bypass operation, angina pectoris, asthma, etc. In addition, wounds/scars can be protected by various inserts without having to glue them. There does not always have to be direct or open wounds. Even if the scar has healed well, these areas are often sensitive to pressure and touch. With the HEKA fix comfort shirt, the pads hold easily and comfortably by sliding underneath.
